I was really hoping that maybe Walgreens would try and match the prices that Village Pharmacy had given me as I enjoyed using the features that Walgreens provided in regards to their online Prescription Medication Auto-Refill system . Was very easy to manage Medication History and getting refills was a quick and easy process The Alert Notifications to indicate when your medications were ready really helped however after all is said and done I rather have my hard earned income spent wisely!
I have not had the luxury of having prescription medication Insurance or better yet insurance that covers my detailed medications where I have had to pay out of pocket my whole adult life .
I Always have great service and experience dealing with John Dragich, RPH ( Village Pharmacy & Gifts ) John and his staff has always gone out of their way to ensure that I not only get the correct medications, but makes sure that I do not have the burden of the price !
What a gem! I am not really into knick knacks, I don't have any need for the pharmacy section, but I spent 50 minutes in this store the first time I visited!! So many things for home decor, toys and stuffed animals for kids, seasonal decor, cards, personal care and more! Very unique selection of decor and children's toys and well priced. Definitely check out!
If I could have taken a picture of the faces of Walgreens Pharmacists and employees as I stated the price and showed the bag with my newly filled medications from across the street at Village Pharmacy & Gifts...
But they deliver, I personally don't use that service, but I think that is amazing option, for people who need it!

For my entire months supply of medications filled with having 8 differant types of medications in total, my "TOTAL" costs at Village Pharmacy was still Cheaper overall then the cost of only one of the so called Walgreens Best Priced!
With that being said, A clear example of my savings by utilizing Village Pharmacy n Gifts, Sauk Rapids , MN. , Without stating a specific medication however a very common one at that , I would normally pay $432.00 every 2 weeks for a 14 day supply or A discounted $851.00 for a months supply at Walgreens , or CVS!!
Unlike the "Brick n Mortar GIANTS" , John and his Staff will work with you to get the best possible price availible!
They have an amazing original gift selection, I alway find the cutest gifts/decor.
I have been using Village Pharmacy & Gifts as my Primary Pharmacy since 2010 . I can't believe how much money I have wasted over the past 25 years using the Walgreens and CVS'S out there.
Bottom line is that, As a Disabled Veteran, I have to live life cautiously and I am very happy with the services of Village Pharmacy & Gifts, in Sauk Rapids, MN. I can say with no doubt that I shall be a customer for the rest of my days !
The only thing I would change, is a drive thru.
Where as John Dragich, RPH, Village Pharmacy & Gifts , Sauk Rapids, MN., charges me only $69.00 for a 31 day supply!!! Yes only $69 bucks for my months supply of the same prescription !
When I had first received these good bargains on my Medications back in 2010, I had hand walked my bag of Newly filled medications from Village Pharmacy directly across the street to where Walgreens was located To inquire with the Pharmacists. After all, with all my years of being a loyal customer, and asking for any relief deals on the costs of medications, and for over 20 plus years thru Walgreens to only be told that Walgreens price was the best price and final price ! Really??? "I don't think so"
